The Gathering is an annual prayer event which aims to unite Christians in prayer for the city. We believe in the power of prayer (James 5:16) and the blessing that comes through the unity of believers, and through unity in prayer (Psalm 133). This year the Gathering 07 was held on the 24th of February on the top of Mt Ainslie, and it turned out to be an awesome afternoon of praying for Canberra and the region. We saw many people from across different churches and denominations come together to call upon God for the city. A big thanks to the passionate team who put an epic effort behind the event, the Salvation Army for providing the BBQ, and to everyone for making it up there, we really appreciate your praying and support. Next year we're hoping to do it again, so get involved watch out for The Gathering 08! "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
